Doug says that his scout troop would have enjoyed the hike. Would you enjoy it? Explain why or why not.

I would of enjoyed it is because i like see cougars and other animals. It is also a good thing is because it would give a lot of exercise and I would like the view from up there.
I would have enjoyed the hike. I love the sense of adventure and danger. I think it would be cool to do that because you would be really high and would have so much fun.
I think I would have enjoyed the hike because I love adventure. As we're learning, people are scared of different things, and I am not scared of being high up. Since I'm not afraid of being really high, I would take this opportunity as a privilege and enjoy the scenery.

I would love it. I love going hikes and exploring in the great outdoors. Every weekend, my Dad goes hiking, I always make it a point that I come. Hiking is a very fun activity and gives you good exercise.
I would not enjoy the hike Doug took because it is high off the ground on a cliff, which I would be scared to walk on. Also, there could be rocks and branches that would cut someone. There might even be cougars and other animals, and most of them would not be friendly like Charlie.
No, I would not have liked the hike because I’m sort of scared of heights. In the book there was a picture of him on the hike and it looked like he was on a very narrow ledge and if I wore on that narrow ledge I would be terrified.
I would not enjoy the hike because I'm kind of afraid of heights. If I was up there where Doug was, I would have freaked out and I would have asked to go back instead of going farther ahead. I seriously DO NOT enjoy heights. Or, hikes. :(
I am not sure if I would enjoy the hike because I dont like hiking for a long time, but I might like it because i like walking on edges and climbing rocks. Still, it would be pretty scary for me to walk all by my self.
I would like to go hiking because i never do anything fun over the weekends. In the story there is a cougar named charlie. i always wanted to see a cougar right in front of my eyes.
I actually wouldn't want to climb a high mountain like the mountain in Fear Place because the mountain seems very dangerous to me and the air would be harder to breath in. Also if it did hail or there was another weather condition you might get thrown off balance and if you fell off the side of the mountain you would die. I don't like heights either.

When I went to Yosemite I climbed Yosemite Falls, the upper one and the lower one. I love the fresh air and nature in there. I also hiked up to Nevada Falls. I’m not afraid of heights and I like all the animals that I came across.

I would not have enjoyed the hike up the mountain. First of all, the ledge is very narrow, and it is six hundred feet above the canyon below. If I was distracted in any way, I would have fallen.Secondly, of I came across a cougar, it probably wouldn't be as nice as Charlie. Finally, I am afraid of heights even a few feet off of the ground. In conclusion, I would never have dared to go on a hike like Doug's and wouldn't have enjoyed it.

Since the path is described as very narrow and high, hiking in The Fear Place would be dangerous without the proper equipment. I could easily fall to my death. I would enjoy the hike because I like to hike and rock climb. I am not afraid of heights and I have the strength to climb to the top. I’ve never seen a cougar in the wild and I’d be excited to see one. The setting reminds me of the Pinnacles, one of my favorite places to hike.
I think that I would have enjoyed the hike very much. I love hiking in the wilderness. I enjoy the fresh mountain air and the beautiful, scenic view. I have never really been afraid of heights or being on very high cliffs. Also, one of my favorite parts of hiking is seeing the wildlife that lives there. I would have loved having Charlie the Cougar there. When I was little, I used to try and spot animals when I went hiking. I love high up views of canyons. I am sure that I would have enjoyed the hike in Fear Place. I do not mind narrow paths.

I would have gone on the hike because I've been hiking all my life with my brother, and had lots of fun. I would be scared, but enjoy it.
